With the 2011-12 season drawing to a close last week, Birmingham Royal Ballet’s summer break has now begun. The dancers scatter across the globe for five weeks of rest and relaxation before preparation for our autumn dates begins.

It’s been far from quiet at BRB HQ, however. Here’s a round-up of this week’s news just in case you missed any of it:

Cinderella Discovery Day: The Department for Learning will be running two Discovery Days for schools (Key Stages 1 & 2) in November/December.
